Brazilian Zouk Pop-Up Social

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance that began in Brazil during the early 1990s. Brazilian Zouk evolved from the partner dance known as the Lambada. Over time, Zouk dancers have experimented with and incorporated other styles of music into Zouk, such as R&B, pop, hip hop, and contemporary. SHELTER will be hosting a curated collection of fine jewelry designer Sandy Rubin’s engagement, wedding, and birthstone jewelry at their Union Market storefront. Inspired by feelings of nostalgia and our inherent drive for the future, Sandy Rubin’s work explores the repetitive motif of the Art Deco era, architecture, and retro-futurism, balancing and challenging the traditional themes of femininity and masculinity in jewelry. Sandy Rubin is only available at SHELTER for the duration of this trunk show.
