Did you know caffeine is the first thing that comes to mind when you think about coffee? However, coffee also contains antioxidants and other active substances that may reduce internal inflammation and protect against disease, according to nutrition experts from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Almost two-thirds of Americans living with Alzheimer’s disease are women. However, the caffeine in two cups of coffee may significantly protect against developing the condition.

Researchers found that women aged 65 and older who drank two to three cups of coffee a day were less likely to develop dementia in general.

• Bag your waste: Use secure bags to contain your waste and prevent loose items from causing clogs. 

• Avoid large items: Don't put large items or objects that won't fit in the chute, as they can cause clogs. 

• Don't leave items on the floor: Don't leave items on the floor in the trash chute room, halls, stairways, or any public area. 

•  Avoid hazardous materials: Don't put flammable liquids, solvents, oil, or materials soaked in flammable liquids in the chute.
