Art All Night: DC’s Ultimate Overnight Arts Party, Lighting Up Neighborhoods with Creativity and Culture!

Art All Night is a collaboration between the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities Department (DCCAH), DC Public Library (DCPL), and the DC Main Streets programs, and the Business Improvement Districts (BIDs). Each participating neighborhood will be a catalyst for corridor revitalization by highlighting music, visual, literary, and performing arts, activating public spaces, bringing new foot traffic to small and local businesses within the corridor, and bringing an increase in business sales compared to a typical weekend night.

Art All Night is an annual overnight arts festival held in Washington, DC, that transforms neighborhoods into vibrant hubs of creativity. The event showcases a wide range of artistic expressions, including visual arts, live performances, music, dance, and interactive exhibits. It typically runs from dusk until the early morning hours, allowing participants to experience local talent and engage with art in unconventional spaces such as galleries, storefronts, parks, and even streets. The festival is free and open to the public, drawing diverse crowds to explore the city's cultural and artistic richness throughout the night.

Each neighborhood involved brings its own flavor to the event, often featuring community led activities, local vendors, and opportunities to interact with artists directly. Art All Night celebrates the intersection of art, community, and urban culture, making it a highlight of DC's cultural calendar.
